STUCO

The HHS Student Council (STUCO) is a vibrant, student-led organization dedicated to fostering leadership, promoting
community service, and building school spirit. Guided by sponsor Dr. Deborah McMennamy, our council is led by an executive team of enthusiastic student leaders, including the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Parliamentarian.
Achievements
The Hillsboro Student Council has been recognized as Outstanding by the Texas Association of Student Councils (TASC) for the past eight consecutive years. This prestigious honor is awarded to councils that excel in the following key areas:

To earn this award, HHS Student Council successfully met all 23 required indicators plus 25 additional indicators in the Outstanding Category.
Beyond state recognition, STUCO has served in leadership roles within District 6, including hosting district meetings, attending conventions, and holding executive offices. Currently, HHS Student Council serves as District 6 Parliamentarian.
