Welcome from Principal Justin Vercher

Welcome to Hillsboro High School,

What an honor it is for me to serve on our team at Hillsboro High School, home of the Fighting Eagles. As a school community, our mission statement is living up to “Preparing Today’s Students for Tomorrow’s World.” By fostering a positive school culture… we will lean on the support of our families and our staff’s collective efficacy in order to maximize our students’ full potential. With this round table approach, we can encourage our students to set high academic goals and provide ways for them to achieve individual
success, so they can, in turn, make positive contributions to our community and thrive as productive citizens.

A positive school spirit is something that we can support, and there’s nothing that will increase that sense of community than maximizing our students’ participation with school involvement. Here at Hillsboro High School with great intentionality… we encourage all of our students to become engaged in our school plus 2 initiative. Quite simply… we want to see all of our students successful with their academics but also actively engage in at least two extracurricular events within our school. There is
something for everyone here at Hillsboro High School.

With our longstanding tradition of excellence, and I am greatly honored to partner with you to help our students fulfill their dreams, as, together, we cast the vision of them living out the Eagle Way: The right thing, the right way, all the time. It’s a great day to be an Eagle, and it all starts with YOU!

See you at school,

Mr. V
